First an admission, we are addicts. Yes, we admit that we have a problem. We are addicted to t shirts, always have been. From the finest curve of the cut to the tiniest stitching detail, we obsess. There are labels that we've always loved and still love but time had worn us down. No longer impressed by tees with American or International themes one day we walked into our favourite clothes boutique and wondered...why are there no cool Irish shirts for sale? We went in search of this elusive type of product and what did we find? Zilch, diddley squat, nada, not a dickey bird.

Drowning in a stormy green sea of shamrocks, leprechauns, harps and only the Blarney Stone to cling to, our future stared us straight in the eyes. Why don't we source some organic cotton, cut it to the shape we want and put what designs we want on the front? Well, that's just what we did. There was a garden shed at the back of the house, so armed with our ideas, t shirts and a printer we fought for space with a lawnmower, some grass feed and christmas decorations and went to work.

Soon we found ourselves swamped with orders from friends, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends. Then the shops came a knockin'. Since we always dealt directly with our customers the logical step was to say 'no thanks' and set up our own exclusive online store. That way we could continue to give the personal touch to our new and existing customers, in an electronic way of course. Five years on and we're going from strength to strength, the world of chancers, handy footballers and amadán's is on the up. We've even moved out of the shed and into a proper office and workshop!

Hoodies have been added to the mix and we have just launched the ultimate organic shopping and beach bags. We promise a barrage of more unique goodies as the year progresses, watch this space as the story of Hairy Baby goes on and on and on.......
